India Tour of Australia: The schedule of Team India’s Australia tour to be held later this year has been announced. Instead of Brisbane’s Gaba ground, the first Test between India and Australia will be held in Perth, which is considered to be the fastest pitch in the world. The 5-Test series between India and Australia will start from November 22 in Perth. After this the Test will be played in Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne and finally Sydney.
The second match of the India-Australia Test series will be played at Adelaide Oval. This match will be with pink ball. That means this test will be day-night. The third match of this test series will be played from 14th December. It will be hosted by Brisbane. The fourth Test will be played in Melbourne on 26 December i.e. Boxing Day. The fifth and last Test will be played in Sydney on January 3, 2025.
After 32 years, a five-Test series will be played between India and Australia instead of four. Earlier in 1991-92, a 5-match Test series was played between India and Australia. This series was played in Australia. Then India was defeated by the host country.
