A source close to Sarfaraz Khan said, “During a Ranji match in Delhi, Sarfaraz’s celebration was for his teammate and coach Amol Muzumdar. The selector, not Chetan Sharma, but Salil Ankola had come to watch the match.” Sarfaraz got the team out of pressure situations and was celebrated for it.”
Another incident of MP coach Chandrakant Pandit not being happy with Sarfaraz Khan and his attitude also came to light recently. But the source added that Pandit has always treated Sarfaraz Khan like his son. A close friend of Sarfaraz said, “Chandu sir treats him like a son. He always has nice things to say about him and has known him since he was 14. He never gets angry at Sarfaraz. Won’t happen.”
