Parliament Special Session: Congress has intensified its preparations for the central government calling a special session of Parliament. Congress had called a meeting of the Parliamentary Strategy Group regarding this on Tuesday itself. After this meeting, a meeting of the India Alliance was held at the residence of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. Prior to this meeting, a meeting was held regarding the special session of Parliament under the leadership of Congress Parliamentary Party chief Sonia Gandhi. After this meeting, the Congress fiercely attacked the central government. Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh said that the Modi government kept the country in the dark.
JDU leader Lalan Singh, TMC leader Derek O’Brien, NCP leader Supriya Sule, Shiv Sena (UBT) Sanjay Raut, SP leader Ram Gopal Yadav, DMK leader T R Balu, AAP leader at the India Alliance dinner meeting at Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s residence Sanjay Singh and JMM leader Mahua Maji etc. are present.
Earlier, Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said that for the first time we are seeing that PM Modi and his allies have announced a 5-day special session to divert attention from the India Alliance meeting. At the same time, Congress leader Gaurav Gogoi told that many important issues of the country were discussed in the meeting. He said that it includes economic problems, inflation, unemployment, natural calamity in Himachal Pradesh, situation in Manipur and matters like Adani Group.
