Karnataka Big Road Accident: A major road accident took place in Yadgiri district of Karnataka this morning. The cruiser coming from the front hit the truck standing on the roadside. The collision was so tremendous that the cruiser was blown away. Five people died on the spot in the accident, while 13 were injured. The police have admitted all the injured to nearby hospitals. It is being told that all the victims of the accident are residents of Nandyal district of Andhra Pradesh, who were going to Kalaburagi in Karnataka to attend the Urs fair of Khwaja Bandenwaz.
According to media reports, the incident took place near Balichakra around 4 am today. Police said that a truck was parked on the side of the road. During this, the high speed cruiser coming from the front hit the truck. Deputy SP of Yagargiri said that the police reached the spot as soon as the information about the accident was received. The injured have been admitted to hospital. He told that after first aid he was referred to Raichur Institute of Medical Sciences. His condition is stable.
According to the information of the police, this incident happened today i.e. on Tuesday at 4 am. When the cruiser vehicle filled with 18 people collided with the truck. As soon as the accident was reported, Yadgiri Deputy SP Basaveshwar, Saidapur Police Inspector both reached the spot and after giving first aid, the injured were admitted to Raichur Institute of Medical Sciences for further treatment. Where his condition is said to be stable after treatment. At the same time, the bodies of all the dead were sent for postmortem.
