Pahlavans, who have been protesting against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh for almost two weeks at Jantar Mantar, are getting continuous support from the people. At the same time, Khap Panchayats and farmer organizations of many states are also in support of the wrestlers. Sunday means today there is a possibility of reaching Delhi in large numbers along with the team force of farmer organizations. Delhi Police is on alert mode regarding farmers’ organization and Khaps. A large amount of police force has been deployed on all the borders adjacent to Delhi.
Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) leader Rakesh Tikait met the wrestlers and appealed to the farmers to support the strike. According to media reports, people from Khap Panchayats of Punjab, Haryana and Western UP will reach Jantar Mantar on Sunday. Along with marching to Delhi, the farmers will also prepare a strategy to encircle Delhi if needed. An online panchayat of farmers was held on Saturday, in which they decided that farmers are being forced to hit the road once again to save agriculture and wrestling. In this meeting, it was said that women players are being misbehaved by the Delhi Police.

Police ordered strict action
Police has made elaborate security arrangements in Delhi for the khaps and farmers coming in support of the wrestlers on strike at Jantar Mantar. According to media reports, the authorities have ordered strict action against the elements who disturb the law and order situation. Thousands of farmers, student organizations and khaps are expected to come from Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Punjab, in such a situation Delhi Police has been put on alert mode. Entry will be allowed only after checking the vehicles at Delhi border.
