The region of Northeast India falls in a high seismic zone, where earthquake tremors are often felt. On the other hand, on February 22, earthquake tremors were also felt in Delhi NCR. The epicenter of this earthquake was in Nepal. Its intensity was measured at 4.9 on the Richter scale.
