Earthquake: Strong earthquake tremors have been felt in many states including Bengal and Assam. The intensity of the earthquake has been measured at 5.3 on the Richter scale. According to the information, earthquake tremors have been felt in 4 states of the northeastern state including Assam and Meghalaya. The intensity of the earthquake in Meghalaya was recorded at 5.2 on the Richter scale. The National Center for Seismology has given information in this regard.
According to the National Center for Seismology, earthquake tremors were felt in Meghalaya today at 6.15 pm on Monday. Apart from this, earthquake tremors were also felt in some parts of Bengal. Let us tell you that due to Gandhi Jayanti holiday, almost people were at home. As soon as the earthquake occurred, there was panic among the people. People came out of their homes. However, no damage has been reported yet due to the earthquake. Apart from this, earthquake tremors have also been felt in North Bengal and Darjeeling hills.
Earthquake also occurred in Haryana
Let us tell you that earlier on Sunday i.e. October 1, earthquake tremors were also felt. According to the National Center for Seismology, a mild earthquake occurred in parts of Haryana on Sunday. An earthquake of 2.6 magnitude occurred here at 11.26 pm on Sunday night. At the same time, the epicenter of the earthquake was located 7 km east south-east of Rohtak, Haryana.
