Delhi Ordinance: Rajya Sabha proceedings have started once again. Due to the uproar, the proceedings were adjourned till 2 pm. As soon as the proceedings started, the bill related to the Delhi Ordinance has also been introduced. Congress MP Abhishek Manu Singhvi has made a big attack on the BJP government. He said that efforts are being made to make a super CM in Delhi. BJP is forcefully trying to create an atmosphere of fear among the people. This bill is against the constitution. This bill will increase interference in the role of officers.
Singhvi further said that this bill is against the federal structure. The basic structure of the constitution is being violated. This is happening for the first time when the Chief Minister is under two secretaries. The Chief Minister has the right to make policies in Delhi. As soon as this bill is passed, the Home Ministry will have control over the appointment of officers.
