The court had asked many questions to the ED
During the last hearing, the Supreme Court had asked some questions to the ED. The court had said that Manish Sisodia has no role in the money trail, then on what basis has he been made an accused in the money laundering case. Also, it was said that the argument given by you seems to be only a guess. During the hearing, the court said that if cross-examination starts on this issue, the liquor policy case will soon fall. At the same time, ED said in reply that this policy was prepared only for the purpose of providing benefits to some people.
Interrogation of Sanjay Singh also continues
The remand period of Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh, arrested in the Delhi liquor scam case, was also extended. After the arrest of Sanjay Singh, the Enforcement Directorate has also interrogated his two close associates Sarvesh Mishra and Vivek Tyagi. Not only this, Dinesh Arora and Sanjay Singh were also interrogated by making them sit face to face. It was claimed by ED that Rs 2 crore was delivered to Sanjay Singh through Sarvesh Mishra. ED has asked more than 100 questions to Sanjay Singh.
The charge sheet was filed by ED regarding the liquor scam. Dinesh Arora has been named an accused in this. However, now he has become a government witness and is out of jail on bail. Dinesh Arora had said that he had collected funds for AAP at the behest of Sanjay Singh.
