The tussle has started once again between Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Delhi LG VK Saxena. Ministers of Delhi Government have protested against LG regarding the file of transfer of Service Secretary. In this matter, a delegation of ministers of the Kejriwal government reached to meet Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena on Friday, but it was said that the minister had come without an appointment. That’s why LG can’t be found. After this all the ministers sat on dharna outside the secretariat.

The delegation has asked a question to the Lieutenant Governor as to why you are not signing the file related to the transfer of the service secretary despite the order of the court. The delegation included Environment Minister Gopal Rai, Education Minister Atishi, Transport Minister Kailash Gehlot, Urban Development Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj, Food and Supplies Minister Imran Hussain. The delegation of ministers alleged that after reaching the Raj Niwas, they had to sit outside for about a quarter of an hour. After meeting the Lieutenant Governor, Gopal Rai said that after waiting for about a quarter of an hour, he called us inside. He told that we asked the Lieutenant Governor that after the order of the Supreme Court, the transfer of the service secretary has not been approved yet.
LG has time to write a five page letter
Gopal Rai told that the Lieutenant Governor told us that he was very busy for two days, so could not read the file, will decide on the file soon. The Lt Governor assured the delegation without fixing any time frame that he would accept the Supreme Court verdict and settle it soon. Gopal Rai said that we have full hope that the Lieutenant Governor will soon sign the transfer file. He said that if the Lieutenant Governor can write a letter of five pages, then there will be time to sign the transfer file.
CM Kejriwal’s meeting with LG
At the same time, today there was a meeting between the Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal and the Lieutenant Governor. After the meeting of both, Kejriwal said that he has met the LG. Delhi LG has said that I am sending the file. Hope LG will send the file soon. The CM said that service secretaries are the most critical, so it is very important to change them. Whatever changes they want to make, they are done by the service secretaries only.
