Former Union minister Kapil Sibal and Rajya Sabha MP Kapil Sibal on Saturday announced a citizens’ platform called INSAAF aimed at providing an alternative vision. During this, he attacked the Government of India and said that the present government is using central investigative agencies against the opposition parties. Also said that this new platform will be made a mass movement for justice. He said that I did not sit to criticize Prime Minister Narendra Modi, I will correct him.

Addressing a press conference at his residence, former Congress leader Kapil Sibal said that the vision and objectives of the Manch will be explained in a public meeting at Jantar Mantar on March 11. For a year or two, I was thinking about the current political situation, what to do.
Kapil Sibal said that whenever any social reform has taken place, lawyers have played an important role in it. Explaining the idea behind the Insaaf Manch, he said that it would be a national level platform with lawyers at the forefront. Wherever there is injustice, common people, civil society and lawyers will come together to fight against it.
Sibal said that since 2014, eight elected governments have fallen. All these have been demolished by the BJP. In a democratic country like India, laws are broken, legislators are bought and courts, people, lawyers are silent. This is political injustice.
