Cash-For-Query Controversy: Amid the ongoing cash for query controversy and war of words between BJP leaders and TMC MP Mahua Moitra, Nishikat Dubey said the Trinamool MP has plenty of time to appear in TV interviews but to appear before the Ethics Committee of the Lok Sabha. There is no time, which initially called them on 31 October. However, now Moitra will have to appear before the Ethics Committee on November 2. It was said by the committee that now the date will not be changed.

Hiranandani, the friend of the accused MP, has talked about his going abroad, staying there, giving valuables and giving traveling expenses (cash) in the affidavit. Should wait for the committee’s report. He said that it is not a question of party-opposition, man-woman, national security, corruption, dignity of Parliament and the conduct and behavior of us MPs. Let the Parliament itself decide on this matter.
