Ashutosh gave the credit for his innings to former Indian cricketer Sanjay Bangar. They said,"Sanjay sir told me that I can play proper cricket shots. It was a small statement but it meant a lot to me. I am just following it – I am playing proper cricketing shots and that has changed my game."
Ashutosh currently plays domestic cricket for Railways. But, he has also played for Madhya Pradesh and has worked a lot with Amay Khurasia. He also gave credit to Khurasia for his batting.
