Lok Sabha Election 2024:: Today is the last day for filing nominations for the third phase of Lok Sabha elections in Madhya Pradesh. Candidates from Vidisha, Bhind, Morena, Gwalior, Sagar, Rajgarh, Guna and Bhopal seats are filing their nominations. Former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan will submit nomination from Vidisha-Raisen seat on Friday afternoon. Congress candidate Arun Srivastava has filed his nomination from Bhopal seat. Before filing nomination, Arun took out a nomination rally in Bhopal. Shivraj performed the puja at his residence in Bhopal. Before nomination, Shivraj will hold an election meeting at Dussehra Maidan in Raisen. There will be a road show after the meeting.

Before filing nomination, Arun Srivastava visited Bhavani temple. After this a nomination rally was taken out. Workers took out the rally carrying posters of Balasaheb Thackeray. Indi leaders and workers including Aam Aadmi Party, Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray) also participated in the rally. PCC Chief Jitu Patwari addressed the rally. CM Mohan will not go to Shivraj’s rally

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav was also going to attend the rally, but due to PM Modi’s meeting in Damoh, he will not go to Raisen. After the road show, Shivraj will submit his nomination before Returning Officer Arvind Dubey at the Collectorate.

124 nominations have been filed so far
Let us tell you that so far 124 nominations have been filed in the third phase Lok Sabha seats. 14 nomination forms have been submitted in Vidisha, 13 in Sagar, 22 in Rajgarh, 9 in Morena, 11 in Bhind, 20 in Bhopal, 15 in Guna and 20 in Gwalior. The nomination of the BSP candidate of Betul Lok Sabha seat, which was shifted from second to third phase due to the death of BSP candidate Ashok Bhalawi, is also yet to be submitted. Scrutiny of nomination papers for the third phase will take place on April 20 and nominations can be withdrawn till April 22.
