A big news is coming out amid the ongoing war between Hamas and Israel. America has attacked eastern Syria. This was confirmed by US Defense Secretary Lloyd J. Austin III (Lloyd J. Austin III) has issued a statement. America has carried out air strikes on terrorist hideouts. The US Defense Ministry said that terrorists were attacking American targets and we attacked in self-defense.
The US Defense Ministry said that the US military has conducted self-defense strikes against Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and its affiliated organizations in eastern Syria. There have been at least 12 attacks on US bases and personnel in Iraq and four in Syria since October 17. Gen. Pat Ryder said 21 US personnel were injured in those two attacks, including on al-Asad airbase in Iraq and Syria. Drones were used to target the Al-Tanf garrison.
The US Defense Ministry said that President Joe Biden had directed these attacks to make it clear that the United States will not tolerate such attacks and will protect itself, its personnel and its interests. He said the operation was separate and distinct from Israel’s war against Hamas.
