In a similar incident this week, a training aircraft with two people on board crashed near a village in Maharashtra’s Pune district on Thursday evening. One person was injured in the incident. Giving information, an inspector of Baramati police station had said that a training aircraft belonging to Redbird Institute crashed near Katphal village under Baramati taluka at around 5 pm. The pilot and another person, probably the co-pilot, were on board the plane and were taken to hospital.

At the same time, in the month of July, a trainee aircraft crashed in a field in Pune district of Maharashtra, in which the female pilot was injured. The trainee plane had crashed in Kadbanwadi village of Indapur taluka of Pune. According to reports, the trainee aircraft had crashed due to suspected power loss.
