A student here shot two people at Denver High School on Wednesday and then fled the scene. According to media reports, hours after the shooting, Denver police shared a photo of the student suspect on social media and identified him as 17-year-old Austin Lyle.

Denver Police Chief Ron Thomas said a shooting at East High School was reported at around 9:50 a.m. and police and paramedics quickly arrived at the scene where two people were shot. The condition of one of them remains stable. While the condition of the other is very serious.
