Airtel 5G Plus Launch: The country’s leading telecom company Airtel is gradually expanding the availability of its 5G network Airtel 5G Plus. Now the company has announced the launch of Airtel Plus 5G service in the capital city of Kolkata. In the early days of March, the company started its 5G service in 125 cities across the country. With the latest launch in Kolkata, Airtel 5G is now available in over 260 cities in India.
With the rollout of 5G services in Kolkata, Airtel 5G Plus is available in a total of 26 cities in West Bengal, including Haldia, Ranaghat, Contai, Krishnanagar, Purulia, Bangaon, Bankura, Raniganj and Kolaghat, among others. Airtel says that its 5G services will be available to users in a phased manner, as the company is in the process of building and expanding its network and completes the roll out.

Airtel has launched an unlimited data offer for its 5G customers, under which all postpaid and prepaid users with a recharge plan of Rs 239 or above can avail unlimited 5G data. Airtel 5G Plus offers up to 30 times faster download speeds than Airtel 4G. This service is live in almost all major cities of India. It is being said that Airtel can also launch a 5G smartphone this year for less than Rs 10,000. Most likely it will be a 5G phone with some added benefits for Airtel 5G users.
