Farzana’s case came into public limelight when she reportedly made serious allegations against her husband regarding the dispute over the custody of their sons and some properties in their sons’ name. Farzana rejected her husband’s claim that he had divorced her. She says if he has divorced me, then he should also have proof of it.

Farzana said that my life and that of my children are in danger due to property dispute in Pakistan. I am confined to my house in Rehman Garden, Lahore and my children are suffering from hunger. Farzana refused to go to her native country without her sons and demanded the Pakistan government to provide security until the matter is resolved.

He said that there are some properties in Lahore which are in the name of my sons. My husband has possession of my and my children’s passports.

Farzana Mubeen Ilahi’s second wife
Farzana is the second wife of Mubeen Ilahi. Ilahi already has a Pakistani wife and children. Farzana alleges that they are conspiring to threaten and intimidate her into returning to India and seizing control of the properties, which she says belong to her two sons.

Farzana’s lawyer Mohsin Abbas said that Mubeen Ilahi is spreading false rumors that Farzana’s visa has expired, while she still has her passport.

This matter has become a topic of discussion in the city. Because Farzana is not clear about her visa status, and she is adamant that she will not go without her sons. Farzana said that she would never return to India without her sons.

While Farzana has been vocal about the matter and her stance, Ilahi has remained quiet and has not clarified her position on the matter.

Farzana also rejected her husband’s allegation that he had tortured her. Farzana said that I know that Ilahi is deliberately delaying the process so that my visa expires and I am forced to leave Pakistan. But I will not go without my sons.
