Under the Israel-Hamas agreement, 25 hostages from Israel and Thailand were released in the first phase. In return, 39 prisoners held by Israel were released. In this case, Hamas organization has released 17 hostages in the second phase. This includes 13 Israelis and 4 Thai citizens. They reached Egypt via Gaza border. The hostages have been released following a temporary peace agreement.

Emily Kibbutz was sleeping at a friend’s house when she was abducted. Noam Orr and Alma Orr were also taken hostage by Hamas terrorists from their home along with their father, Dror Orr, 48, and their cousin, Liam Orr, 18. Mother Yonat Orr was killed in the attack.

Meanwhile, Hamas on Saturday accused Israel of violating the agreement. This is the reason why the second batch of hostages were released late. Hamas has complained that Qatari and Egyptian mediators are obstructing Israel’s selection of prisoners and that, despite the ceasefire, it has provided no assistance in reaching civilians in Gaza. But Israeli officials denied these claims. He said that all the conditions are being followed. Additionally, Israel also handed over 39 Palestinian prisoners. Among them, 33 are children and six are women. In exchange, Hamas released 13 Israeli hostages.
