Foreign Minister Jaishankar on Guyana tour, all proposals kept in India-Caricom meeting

India’s Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar (S.Jaishankar) has reached Guyana on Friday on a three-day visit. Here he also co-chaired the 4th India-Caricom Ministerial Meeting with Jamaican Foreign Minister Kamina Johnson Smith. During this, S. Jaishankar said that Kovid, growing problems of climate change, security of trade, food and energy are such issues at this time, on which it is very important for us to discuss.

Jaishankar spoke on the chairmanship of G-20

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar (S.Jaishankar) Said in the India-Caricom ministerial meeting that this time India has got the opportunity to chair the G-20. He further said that PM Narendra Modi (PM Narendra Modi) has emphasized more that we will put forward the issues not only for ourselves but also of various countries which are not part of the G20 conference. Jaishankar said that we call such countries the Voice of the Global South process.

In this ministerial meeting, Jaishankar made a proposal for small and above scale industries in the Caribbean and said that a partner can be made for such industries in India.

Emphasizing the importance of the health sector, Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar said that the global pandemic like Corona had worsened the situation in the world. Many problems were raised in front of the people in the field of health. He said that in the matter of health, a lot of work needs to be done at the global level. Generic medicines are available in India at low cost. Also, he told the world leaders that if you all want, we are creating a system to provide low cost generics to your people. We want to have a regional center for this.
