China Earthquake: In China’s Dezhou city, there was a huge devastation due to the strong tremors of the earthquake in the early hours of Sunday. The intensity of the earthquake was so strong that several houses collapsed and at least 10 people were injured, but no casualties were reported. According to media reports, a 5.5-magnitude earthquake occurred near the city of Dezhou, about 300 km south of Beijing, the capital of China, at 2.33 am. Its intensity was measured at 5.5 on the Richter scale.

The intensity of the earthquake was so strong that 74 houses were razed to the ground and 10 people were injured. Some pictures of this earthquake are going viral on social media, in which people are seen running away from their homes. Debris from buildings and walls was scattered on the streets. USGS has issued a red alert for the country. China’s emergency department launched a rescue operation and sent a team to Shandong province.
Not only this, the gas pipeline has also burst in the city, so the gas service has also been stopped. Also, considering the intensity of the earthquake, the railway facility has also been stopped. Inspection of railway track is being done. In view of the possible dangers, the railway service has been banned. The roadway has also been badly damaged. According to media reports, about 5.6 million people live in the area of Dezhou, Shandong and surrounding cities.

Earth was shaken by earthquake in India too
In the country’s national capital Delhi (Delhi) and also in the surrounding areas, the earth shook due to the tremors of the earthquake last night. Earthquake tremors have been felt from Delhi-NCR to Chandigarh-Punjab. Its center remained in Hindukush of Afghanistan. According to the National Center for Seismology, the intensity of the earthquake was measured at 5.8 on the Richter scale.
