A battery pack of 24 kWh capacity will be given in this car, which will run for 250 to 300 kilometers in a single charge. Let us tell you that this will be the first electric car of Tata Motors, which will be based on the ALFA platform.
This car will see the Tata Tigor EV powertrain, which comes with a 26 kWh liquid-cooled battery pack and a permanent magnet synchronous motor. This motor is quite powerful, this motor is capable of generating 55 kW of power and 170 Nm of torque. According to reports, the Tata Punch electric SUV is going to get the Tiago EV’s powertrain. It gets two powertrain setups, in which a 19.2 kWh battery pack with an electric motor generating 74 bhp power and a 24 kWh battery pack with an electric motor generating 61 bhp power.
This will be the cost of the car
Talking about the price of this car, no official information has been received from the company so far, but it is being speculated that Tata Punch EV can be offered at an initial price of Rs 9 lakh. The production of this car can start in the month of June. After this the company will launch it in the month of October.
