Reliance Jio is at the forefront of 5G network rollout in the country. So far Jio True 5G network has been launched in more than 250 cities. Company’s chairman Akash Ambani has told many important things in the post budget webinar regarding Jio 5G service. He said that Jio’s 5G services will be live across the country by the end of this year.
In the post budget webinar organized by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Reliance Jio Infocomm Chairman Akash Ambani said that 5G technology has the power to change the way Indians live. He termed Jio’s True 5G network launch as the world’s largest 5G rollout. He said that within just 5 months, Jio has installed 2.5 lakh 5G cells at around 40,000 tower sites. Riding on this big infra of Reliance Jio, the company’s 5G service has reached 277 cities. Akash Ambani claimed that by 2023, Reliance Jio’s true 5G service will be available in every city and every village.
During the program, the chairman of Reliance Jio spoke in great detail on how 5G technology can be used in various fields and how it will affect our lives. He explained the uses of 5G in health, education, agriculture, gaming to smart city. Akash Ambani said that the country is fully prepared to take advantage of 5G.
