Jio 5G in India: Telecom operator Reliance Jio has made its 5G services live in more than 400 cities. Reliance Jio announced that it is launching True 5G services in 41 additional cities across 16 states and union territories. With this rollout, Reliance Jio has become the first and only telecom operator to reach such a large network in a short span of time.
Reliance Jio announced the launch of its True 5G services in 41 new cities across 16 states and union territories. These cities include Adoni, Badvel, Chilakaluripet, Gudivada, Kadiri, Narsapur, Rayachoti, Srikalahasti, Tadepalligudem in Andhra Pradesh, Fatehabad, Gohana, Hansi, Narnaul, Palwal in Haryana, Madgaon in Goa, Kanhagad, Nedumangad, Taliparamba, Thalassery in Kerala, Thiruvalla, Karaikudi in Tamil Nadu, Krishnagiri, Ranipet, Theni Alinagaram, Udhagamandalam, Vaniyambadi, Betul in Madhya Pradesh, Dewas, Vidisha, Bhandara in Maharashtra, Wardha, Beasnagar in Odisha, Rayagada, Lunglei in Mizoram, Hoshiarpur in Punjab, Tonk in Rajasthan, Paonta Sahib in Himachal Pradesh, Rajouri in Jammu and Kashmir, Dumka in Jharkhand, Kumarghat in Tripura and Robertsonpet in Karnataka.
Speaking at the launch, a Jio spokesperson said, “We are thrilled to rapidly roll out Jio True 5G to millions of users across the country, and are confident of the transformative power of our network to transform their lives through multiple digital touchpoints. Will take it forward. The roll-out of 5G networks is progressing at a rapid pace.
Jio users in 41 cities will be invited to try the Jio Welcome Offer to experience unlimited data at 1 Gbps+ speeds at no extra cost. To receive the invite, Jio users need to tap on the welcome offer card available on the MyJio app, provided they have a 5G phone and live in an area with 5G networks.
