Aapki Beti Hamari Beti Yojana: Various schemes are being run by the governments in the country to give equal opportunities to daughters and women and to create a better future for them. The purpose of these schemes is to provide financial assistance from the education of daughters to marriage. The government is trying to make the daughters of the country self-reliant. Aapki Beti Hamari Beti Yojana was launched in the year 2015 by the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of Haryana. The objective of this scheme is to curb the cases of female feticide in the state, to provide proper opportunities for education to the girls and to improve the level of sex ratio etc. Under Aapki Beti Hamari Beti Yojana, an amount of Rs 21000 is given for the birth of the first girl child in the family of SC and BPL card holders and Rs 21000 for the second child of the family belonging to any caste. Explain that this amount is deposited by the government in Life Insurance Corporation LIC and a temporary payment is made to the girl child on attaining the age of 18 years.
