Haryana Old Age Scheme Yojana 2023: In order to enable the old people of Haryana to lead a better life in their old age, the Haryana government has come up with an old age pension scheme. Under the scheme, monthly pension is given as financial assistance to the elderly above 60 years of age. While presenting the budget for the financial year 2023-24 a few days ago, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar announced an increase of Rs 250 per month in the old age pension. CM Khattar said, the amount of Haryana Old Age Pension Scheme has been increased from Rs 2500 to Rs 2750 per month. Explain that Rs 13000 crore has been allocated for pension alone in the budget proposals.
Under the Old Age Pension Scheme of Haryana, senior citizens of Haryana in the age group of 60 years and above are given Old Age Honor Allowance as per the eligibility criteria prescribed in the rules of the scheme.
Haryana Old Age Pension Scheme Eligibility Criteria
1. The age of the person applying should be 60 years or more.
2. The person should be a resident of Haryana State and his/her spouse as well as his/her income from all sources should not exceed Rs.2 lakh per annum.
3. Any person receiving pension from any government or any organization shall not be eligible to receive allowance under the scheme.

How to Apply Haryana Old Age Pension Scheme Online
Eligible people in Haryana can apply themselves online and from CSC center to avail the benefits of old age pension scheme. For online application you have to create login id on Saral. After this Old Age Pension Yojana application form has to be filled and submitted to your nearest DSWO office or Saral Seva Kendra. Apart from this, you can apply directly by going to your nearest CSC center. The application form of the pension scheme can be downloaded by visiting the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of Haryana.
