check tire tread depth
Make sure that the tire tread depth of your vehicle meets the Indian standard of 1.6mm. Worn tires reduce friction, which increases the likelihood of skidding and hydroplaning. Tires with low tread depth should be replaced. Check the tire once thoroughly that it should not be mutilated, there should not be any kind of defect in it due to which you have to worry.

Check your vehicle’s tire pressure regularly. Tire pressure drops in cold and wet weather. This makes your drive vulnerable. Always keep in mind that it is filled as per the standard.

Do not load the vehicle beyond its carrying capacity. Overloading causes strain in the tyre. Due to the high load, its performance on rough roads gets reduced.

Keep your vehicle speed normal during rainy season. Don’t go too fast. This can make you a victim of an accident. If you go too fast, you can lose control and injure yourself as well as others. The vehicle may also skid at high speed.
