Twitter User Safety Report:� Elon Musk’s ex (Twitter) has taken major action on the accounts of its users. If reports are to be believed, between August 26 and September 25, X has banned about 5,57,764 Indian accounts. The users who were banned by X were not posting as per the company’s rules.

The company took action against these users.

According to media reports, the company has taken action against all those users who have posted on Twitter against the company’s standards. The company said in a statement that most of the accounts on which action has been taken were posting various types of posts, including child sexual abuse, against the company’s standards. Therefore action has been taken on these accounts.

User safety report is released every month

Under the IT Rule 2021, all major social media companies issue monthly user safety reports. Under this rule, X has released the report for the month of September. The company had received 3,076 complaints during this period. Of these, the company took action on 116 complaints. However, the company then reviewed it closely and reinstated 10 of these accounts. While giving information in the monthly safety report, the company said that the maximum number of complaints received by them were related to abuse/harassment (1,076). At the same time, the company had received (1,063) complaints for cases of hateful conduct, while (450) complaints for child sexual exploitation and (332) complaints for sensitive adult content were received by the company.

Last month also the company had taken action.

The company has not taken such action for the first time. Last month also, the company had banned 12,80,107 accounts between July 25 and August 26. These users were also posting content against the company’s standards. If you want to save your X account from getting banned, then you should avoid posting such content on the platform. Otherwise the company can take action on your accounts also.
