What is the matter?
According to reports, in January an ITC judge ruled that Apple had copied one of the five Masimo patents regarding the use of sensors to measure the amount of oxygen in the blood. However, Apple challenged this decision. Disagreement was expressed and the company also requested a full review from the Commission. After this, ITC issued an order in October. Which states that Apple could have been prevented from importing the affected Apple Watch. Due to which the ban has been imposed. After the order, a presidential review period of 60 days has started. In which the US President can intervene and veto the ITC ban. So far, President Joe Biden or his office has not taken any action on the matter. This review period is set to end on December 25 and if it is not changed by then, the sale of the Apple Watch 9 Series and Watch Ultra 2 is expected to be banned.
