News2News.in News, Raipur: The last date for fresh online application for admission to the vacant seats of MD-MMS and MDS with zero percentile rule can be done till 30th September. Zero percentile rule will be applicable during entry in the third round. Currently, the second round of counseling is awaited to start, for which 201 seats of Medical and 90 seats of Dental PG are vacant.
Due to a large number of seats being vacant, this time on the demand of the doctors’ organization, to fill the vacant seats after the second round of admission, all the students who have passed the zero percentile i.e. NEET exam will be considered eligible and will be given admission. Currently, after the first round of counselling, out of total 259 seats of MD-MS, 20 are vacant i.e. admission has been done for only 58 seats. Similarly, out of total 131 seats of MDS, 41 seats are filled and 91 seats are vacant, in which the second round of counseling is awaited for admission. After completion of the second counselling, admission to the vacant seats will be given in the third round with new rules. The Directorate of Medical Education has given time to eligible candidates to apply online from 25th to 30th September.
Mopup of UG, institute selection from today
The last date for second round admission in MBBS and BDS is 26th September. From this day itself, the process of selection of institutions for the mopup round will be completed by 27th September. During the second round, counting of seats are left in government medical and dental colleges, while more than 20 seats are vacant in each college.
