So far, 98 thousand 845 persons have been employed on contract basis in government departments, boards and corporations through the Haryana Skill Employment Corporation. 27.5 percent employees of backward classes
Taking a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Corporation on Tuesday, the Chief Secretary said that preference is being given to scheduled castes and backward classes in raw jobs. Among the employees hired on contract, 30 thousand 214 (30.5 percent) employees belong to Scheduled Castes and 27 thousand 185 (27.5 percent) employees belong to backward classes A and B.
