Exam pattern of Bihar Police Sub Inspector exam will be like this
Bihar Police SI Exam Pattern: On behalf of Bihar Police Sub-ordinate Selection Commission, recruitment to the post of Sub Inspector was announced on 5 October 2023. Admit card for Bihar Sub Inspector recruitment exam has been released on the official website of BPSSC bpssc.bih.nic.in. Candidates should download this admit card in time.
How many posts will be recruited in Bihar Police SI?
Bihar Police Sub-ordinate Selection Commission will select eligible candidates for a total of 1275 posts through this recruitment process. Candidates were given time till 5 November 2023 to apply for these vacant posts.
When will Bihar Police SI exam be held?
Bihar Police SI exam will be conducted in three phases. Its first phase is Prelims exam, which will be held on 17 December 2023. Candidates who are successful in this examination will be considered eligible to appear in both the stages of Bihar Police SI Mains examination and those who pass both the stages will have to appear in the physical test.
Bihar Police SI Prelims Exam Pattern
Objective Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) from General Knowledge and Current Affairs will be asked in Bihar Police SI Preliminary Written Examination. In this, every question is of 2 marks. 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. The minimum qualifying marks to pass Prelims has been fixed at 30 percent i.e. 60 marks. This exam will be conducted for 2 hours.
Bihar Police SI Mains Exam Pattern
Bihar Police SI Main Exam will consist of two papers – Paper 1 (General Hindi) and Paper 2 (General Studies, Mathematics, Civics, Geography, General Science and Indian History). 200 questions will be asked in the mains exam which will be of 400 marks. Candidates will be given 4 hours time for this examination.
Physical Efficiency Test for Bihar Police SI
For recruitment to SI posts in Bihar Police, candidates will also have to pass PET i.e. Physical Efficiency Test. This test rules are different for female and male candidates.
PET for men in Bihar Police SI
Race distance: 1.6 km, time: 6 minutes 30 seconds
High jump: 4 feet
Long jump: 12 feet
Shot Put Weight: 16 pounds, Parameters: 16 feet
PET for women in Bihar Police SI
Race distance: 1 km, time: 6 minutes
High jump: 3 feet
Long jump: 9 feet
Shot Put Weight: 12 pounds, Parameters: 12 feet
