Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has made a big announcement for Sarpanchs. In order to relieve the sarpanchs of e-tendering, the CM said that the limit for the sarpanchs to do the work is Rs 2 lakh, it has been increased to Rs 5 lakh. Now the sarpanch will be able to get the job done up to Rs.5 lakh. And all the above works are done via e-tendering. Now the powers of the Zilla Parishad (ZIP) have also been expanded.

At the same time, CM also increased the salary of the sarpanches by 2000 rupees, now the sarpanches receive 5000 rupees instead of 3000 rupees. The increased salary will apply from April. Aside from that, Panchs’ salary has also been increased. His salary was increased from 1,000 to 1,600 rupees.

On the other hand, the CM said that if there are deficiencies in the quality of the works carried out through electronic tenders, the official is responsible for it, while the sarpanch itself is responsible for the quality of the works carried out through citations. The government will not compromise on quality.
