Subhash Chandra Bose resigned from his civil services on 22 April 1921. After this he stood up carrying the torch of freedom movement. The copy of the resignation letter given by Netaji has been shared by IFS officer Praveen Kaswan on his Instagram account (@praveenkaswan). He wrote in the caption, ‘On April 22, 1921, Subhash Chandra Bose resigned from the Indian Civil Service to take part in a greater cause, the freedom struggle. He was only 21 years old then.
