Green Color Milestones
The road connecting one district to another in the state is called STATE HIGHWAY. In this route, green colored mine stones are placed on the roadside. Yellow Color Milestones

Orange Color Milestones
Orange Mile Stone is used in Prime Minister Rural Road. These stones indicate that you are walking in the PMGSY road. PMGSY road connects rural areas. The plan to build this road was started on 25 December 2000, which works to connect a population of more than one thousand. The construction and maintenance of this road has been given to the Ministry of Rural Development.
Black/Blue Color Milestones
This road is constructed by the urban body. If you see milestones in blue or black color on the roadside, then understand that you have entered a big city or district. The construction, maintenance and supervision of these roads is done by the local administration, Municipal Corporation.
White Color Milestones
These milestones are seen along the access roads to rural areas. These are NON-CLASSIFIED ROADS. It is constructed by PWD- Public Work Department.
