Uttarakhand tunnel collapse: 41 laborers were safely evacuated from the Silkyara Tunnel of Uttarkashi on Tuesday night. This rescue operation continued for 17 days. Late night, PM Modi spoke on phone to all the 41 laborers evacuated from Silkyara Tunnel and inquired about their well being. During this, the PM appreciated his courage and expressed happiness on his coming out. Along with this, PM Modi has also tweeted on his X account regarding this rescue operation.
In fact, late on Tuesday night, PM Modi spoke to all the workers on phone and then inquired about their well being. PM Modi said that I congratulate all your colleagues that you should come out even after this crisis. It is a matter of pleasure for me. I can’t describe it in words. Otherwise, if anything bad had happened, it was difficult to say how we would have been able to control our mind. It was by the grace of Kedarnath Baba and Lord Badrinath that you all have come out safely.
After removing the workers from the tunnel, they were taken to Chinyalisaur.
After the rescue, 41 laborers were taken to the Community Health Center of Chinyalisaur, about 30 to 35 kilometers from the tunnel. Here, preparations had already been made by the administration. It took about 40 minutes for the workers to reach the hospital. All the workers underwent medical checkup. Everyone is absolutely healthy. After meeting their families, everyone is very happy and the family members are also seen thanking the government.
