While playing in Dehradun, a child named Karthik put a dog collar around his neck. Due to this her throat got tightened and the child died. During this his younger sister tried to save him, but she failed. He took the help of neighbors to save his brother. But by then it was too late and the child had died.
Police is investigating the case
The incident is of Patel Nagar area of Dehradun. Here a person named Kuldeep Singh lives with his wife and two children. He works as an auto rickshaw driver. Kuldeep had left home on Friday morning with an auto rickshaw. In the evening the wife also went to the market. After that there was only son Karthik and daughter in the house. Both the children were playing in the bedroom of the house. Meanwhile, Karthik picked up the leash of the dog and started playing with it. When he threw the strap over the door, one end of it got stuck in the latch on the other side.
After that he put the other end of the strap around his neck. After this, Karthik bent down a bit, then the strap tightened around his neck and he started suffering. Karthik’s sister tried to open the noose, but she failed. The girl came out of the house screaming and told this to the neighbors. Neighbors reached the spot after getting the information. They removed the strap from Karthik’s neck, but by then he had already died. After getting the information, the police team reached from ISBT outpost. Patel Nagar SHO Suryabhushan Negi said that the strap might have tightened around the child’s neck due to his foot slipping. Uttarakhand Police is investigating the entire matter.

Girl crying remembering brother, mother’s condition unconscious
Patel Nagar SHO Suryabhushan Negi told that only his younger sister was with Karthik at the time of the accident. An attempt was made to talk to him, but he is not in a condition to talk. Efforts are being made to find out from him how this incident happened. Right now she is crying remembering her brother. The condition of the child’s mother is also critical.
