UP Lok Sabha Election Phase 1 Voting Updates: 25.20 percent voting took place in 8 Lok Sabha seats of Uttar Pradesh till 11 am on April 19. The highest 29.84% voting took place in Saharanpur parliamentary seat and the lowest 20.71% in Rampur. In the first phase, voting is being held in Kairana, Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, Nagina, Rampur, Moradabad and Pilibhit Lok Sabha seats of UP. Voting is to continue from 7 am to 6 pm.

- Names of 1500 voters are missing from the list at booth-172 in Masavi village of police station building in Kairana. Samajwadi Party has raised questions on this. Voting is very slow in booth number 270 of Saharanpur. Due to the booth being dominated by Muslims, the administration is affecting the pace of voting.
- There is an allegation of not allowing voting at booth numbers 58, 62 and 73 of JV Inter College of Saharanpur Lok Sabha. Samajwadi Party wrote a post on X saying that no one with disabilities is being allowed inside here. Also told that BJP supporters have captured the booth in Bilaspur Booth-52 of Rampur Lok Sabha. Voters are being returned from there. A demand has been made from the Election Commission for fair voting.
- Outrage over beating of SP agent
In Pilibhit, SP agent and his family members were beaten with sticks at Vedkheda polling station of Bisalpur village. The villagers protested outside the polling station in protest against the incident. The police are accused of assault. Voting was affected for about half an hour due to the protest. The SP agent and his father have been taken into custody by the police. - Boycott of elections for bridge in Bisalpur
Villagers in Bisalpur village of Pilibhit parliamentary constituency have also boycotted the elections. Not a single vote was cast in the Puraina polling station here till 10.30. The villagers are angry over the non-construction of a bridge on the Devha river. Deputy District Magistrate Mahipal Singh said, efforts are being made to understand the villagers. - Only Pradhan and her husband cast their vote in Nisba village.
Voting did not take place in Nisba village of Rampur parliamentary constituency. Angered by the lack of development work in the village, the villagers boycotted the elections. Told that the village road is in bad condition. We face difficulty in commuting. No one wants to bring a wedding procession due to lack of road. The villagers protested and said, first there will be talks on the streets and then we will vote. Remained adamant on the demand of calling the District Magistrate. Officials said that only the village head and her husband of Nisba village have voted.

Uproar over throwing of BJP flags in Fatehpur
There was a ruckus in Fatehpur police station area of Saharanpur when BJP flags were thrown into the drain. In Rasulpur Kala village, Mandal President Dubey Singh Kamboj has complained to the Election Commission, accusing an inspector and two policemen of taking out BJP flags from their bags and throwing them in the drain. There was fierce bickering between BJP leaders and policemen on the issue of the flag. Fatehpur Police Station President Dharmendra Singh pacified the villagers by giving advice. Said, the allegation of throwing the flag is wrong. Efforts have been made to remove the crowd.
