In this painful accident, one laborer died on the spot, while eight laborers were buried under the debris due to the fall of this shutter.

The work of building a juice factory was going on in Barabhari village near the toll plaza of Sitapur Khairabad police station area. During this, the work of installing slab was going on. More than two dozen people were working here. Suddenly the slab fell. Around eight laborers and masons were buried under the debris, following which a stampede broke out. After getting the information of this matter, the police reached the spot and the work of rescuing the people was started.

Police said that Ajay’s son Shivram, a resident of Barabhari, died in the accident, while more than a dozen laborers were injured. The injured laborers have been admitted to BCM and District Hospital where their treatment is going on. After the accident, the local people alleged that the gate of the factory was not opened for about an hour after the incident, due to which there was a delay in rescuing the people. Along with this, the police say that investigation is being done in the matter.
