Aligarh Police Station Firing:At that time, there was a commotion inside the police station in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, and a sub-inspector was shot with a government pistol. Actually, today on Friday a woman went to a police station in Aligarh for passport verification. During this, a Sub-Inspector (SI) accidentally fired his government pistol. The bullet hit the woman in the head. The video of this incident was captured in the CCTV installed in the police station. Now the video of this incident has surfaced.

In this regard, Aligarh Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kalanidhi Naithani said that the incident occurred at 2:50 pm. He further said that Inspector Manoj Sharma has been suspended with immediate effect. Besides, a case has also been registered against the Inspector.

He said that the injured woman was immediately taken to JN Medical College, where her condition is said to be critical. Naithani said the bullet hit Ishrat in the back of the head and the SI was suspended with immediate effect.

Naithani said that strict action will be taken against the SI for negligence. A criminal case has been registered against him. The woman is being treated. We have deployed a team to nab the police inspector as he is currently absconding.

At the same time, it can be seen in the CCTV camera video that the woman Ishrat entered the police station with her relative and stood there for some time. After some time a police officer came and gave a pistol to SI Manoj Sharma. When the SI was cleaning the pistol, the bullet accidentally hit the woman, due to which she fell on the ground.
