UP Poster War: Before the Lok Sabha elections 2024, tensions seem to be increasing in the India alliance. Many parties have already started the struggle to declare the face of the PM. A few days ago, a poster declaring Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav as the future Prime Minister of India was revealed outside the SP office. After this, today a poster has appeared outside the Lucknow office of the Congress Party showing Rahul Gandhi being made the Prime Minister and Ajay Rai being made the Chief Minister in 2024. According to media reports, this poster has been put up by party worker Thakur Nitant Singh Nitin.

Election promises also in the poster

This poster has photos of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Ajay Rai. It is written in the poster that Rahul in 2024, Rai in 2027, the country and the state are saying come with hands. Apart from this, alleged election promises have also been made in the poster. In this, promises like caste census, MSP to farmers, women’s reservation, old pension scheme, employment and old age pension have also been mentioned.

Akhilesh Yadav was also said to be the future PM

The development comes a day after a poster declaring Akhilesh Yadav as the future Prime Minister of India surfaced in Lucknow. A strong reaction was also given by BJP on this. The party had taunted Akhilesh by saying that Mungeri Lal had beautiful dreams. However, Yadav rejected the claim of those putting up posters and said that no one is going to become Prime Minister just by putting up posters. If a supporter has put up a poster then he is expressing what he wants. He said that the aim of the socialists is to stop the BJP.

SP took a jibe at Congress

The poster war has created tension between the Congress and the Samajwadi Party, the two main members of the opposition alliance India. On this, SP leader Fakhrul Hasan Chand said that we will not say anything on which poster is displayed outside the Congress office, but today if minorities are being persecuted anywhere then the policies of the Congress are also responsible for it. He also said that both Congress and BJP parties are responsible for NRC, Babri Masjid.
