UP News: In the results of the assembly elections of four states held yesterday i.e. on 3 December, BJP registered victory in three states – Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan. However, opposition parties have already blamed EVMs for BJP’s victory in the assembly elections. Now Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati also raised question marks on the one-sided results and said that it is difficult to digest the election results.

Mayawati said that it is natural for everyone to be apprehensive, surprised and worried when the results of the assembly general elections held in four states of the country on Sunday came in favor of only one party. He said that considering the entire atmosphere of the elections, a strange result is a matter of concern for the people. It is very difficult to digest.

‘It is mysterious that the election results were completely one-sided’

The BSP supremo said that the atmosphere during the entire election was completely different and interesting like a close fight, but the election result being completely different from that and becoming completely one-sided, is such a mysterious matter. On which serious thinking and its solution is necessary. He said that the grave mistake in sensing the pulse of the people is a new topic of election discussion. They should not be disappointed at all with the result, but, we should try to move forward by taking inspiration from Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. He said that all the people of BSP fought this election with full body, mind, money and strength, which brought new life in the atmosphere, but they should not be disappointed at all by such a strange result, but the life of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. We have to keep trying to move forward by taking inspiration from struggles.

Mayawati called a meeting on 10 December

Mayawati further said that in view of the election results and to discuss the ground report for the preparation of Lok Sabha elections, an all India meeting of the party will be called in Lucknow on December 10. He said, “The Ambedkarite movement will never lose the courage to move forward without being troubled by the election results.” The BJP has won the assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, dealing a blow to the opposition parties who were expecting a close contest in the elections.
