UP News: Before the Lok Sabha elections to be held next year, the CM Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh is going to give a big gift to women. Actually, the Yogi government is planning to provide free travel to all women above 60 years of age in the roadways buses of Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation. This decision of the UP government is being considered as a big step for BJP before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
Women above 60 years of age will get gifts.
Yogi government is going to give a big gift to women above 60 years of age. Under this gift, women will no longer be given tickets in roadways buses. BJP had made this promise in its manifesto before the 2022 assembly elections. In this he had promised to provide free travel in roadways buses to women above 60 years of age. Now the government is making preparations to fulfill this promise.
Every day around 85 thousand women will get benefits
Compensation will be paid to the transport corporation for the purpose of providing free travel in buses for women above 60 years of age. An additional provision of Rs 100 crore has been made for the purchase of new buses in the transport corporation’s fleet. According to an estimate, about 85 thousand women will be able to avail the benefits of this scheme of Yogi government in a day. If we talk about the expenditure, then Rs 250 to 300 crore can be spent annually under this scheme.
