UP New DGP:Uttar Pradesh RK Vishwakarma was made acting DGP. He is an IPS officer of 1988 batch. Earlier DS Chauhan was holding this charge. Please tell that Rajkumar Vishwakarma is also handling the responsibility of the Chairman of Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment Board and EOW.
Rajkumar Vishwakarma is a 1998 batch IPS officer. Earlier, after the retirement of DS Chauhan, currently RK Vishwakarma has been selected as the caretaker DGP of the state. Let us inform that DGP DS Chauhan had assumed this charge on May 12, 2022, his tenure is ending today. In view of this, Rajkumar Vishwakarma was made the new acting DGP of Uttar Pradesh.

He will remain in this post till a permanent appointment is made.
