But now, after the kind of atmosphere being created in the country regarding Uniform Civil Code, the Law Commission has once again become active.
According to media reports, the stir regarding the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) has intensified in Uttar Pradesh. Explain that the Uttar Pradesh Law Commission had already given in-principle consent on the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code, in which the commission had said that like the Criminal Law, implement the Uniform Civil Code in the state in such a way that all religions I am accepted. But, for the last few days, an atmosphere is being created in the whole country regarding this issue, after which the State Law Commission has once again started preparing for it. The Uttar Pradesh Law Commission may soon submit its recommendations afresh to the state government.
Uttarakhand will become the first to implement UCC
Significantly, before this, Uttarakhand is going to become the first state to implement the Uniform Civil Code. Uttarakhand had constituted a special committee on Uniform Civil Code, which has submitted its report to the Uttarakhand government after consulting lakhs of people in the state. As soon as the bill is passed in the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly, this law will be implemented in the state. If everything goes well, then after Uttarakhand, the Uttar Pradesh government can also take a big decision regarding the Uniform Civil Code.
