Stones Pelting at Vande Bharat: The incidents of stone pelting on Vande Bharat Express are not taking the name of stopping. Some anti-social elements pelted stones at the Vande Bharat train passing near Barabanki in UP. During this, the glasses of many coaches have also been broken. The incident took place when a virtual program for beautification of railway stations by Prime Minister Narendra Modi was underway. Railway Police of Barabanki has started investigation against unknown persons. The Railway Protection Force (RPF) escort team informed the control room about the incident. On receiving the information, the RFP Inspector who reached the spot did not find any unruly elements or witnesses at the spot. A case has been registered under relevant sections for causing damage to government property and endangering the lives of passengers by damaging public property.

Earlier on August 3, stones were also pelted at the Vande Bharat Express standing at Gorakhpur junction. Many of its glasses were broken in this.
