Ram Mandir: An artisan in UP’s Aligarh has prepared a lock weighing four quintals for the Ram temple in Ayodhya. The artisan says that he has been making handmade locks for 45 years. He has designed the only lock for the temple of Lord Rama.

An elderly artisan from Aligarh, famous for hand-made locks, has prepared a 400-kg lock for the Ram temple in Ayodhya. Let us tell you that the Ram temple is expected to open for the devotees in January next year. Satya Prakash Sharma, a devotee of Lord Ram, has designed the world’s largest handmade lock.

Satya Prakash Sharma of Aligarh told that he has been making locks in Aligarh for more than 45 years. His family has been in the business of making handmade locks for over a century. Satya Prakash is preparing to hand over the lock weighing 400 kg to the Ram temple authorities later this year. In such a situation, the officials of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Trust told that a large number of devotees are giving one or the other gift. We have to see where this lock can be used in the temple.

10 feet height and 4.5 feet width

Keeping the Ram temple in mind, a huge lock with a key of four feet has been prepared. It is ten feet high by 4.5 feet wide and 9.5 inches thick. This lock will be kept in Aligarh exhibition. Satya Prakash Sharma told that he wants the lock to be perfect, it is a labor of love for me. My wife Rukmani has supported me in this work.

About two lakh rupees were spent in making the lock

Satya Prakash told that it cost him about Rs 2 lakh to make this lock. He has invested his own money to make this dream project a reality. He said that I have been doing the work of lock making for many years. So I thought of preparing a huge lock for Ram Mandir. No one has made such a lock before.
