Priyanka Gandhi Saharanpur Road Show: Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra sought votes for Congress candidate Imran Masood by holding a road-show in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. While discussing with the media, Priyanka Gandhi said that Prime Minister Modi and his party leaders do not talk on the issues of inflation, unemployment, farmers and women. Hindus and Muslims try to divert us from the real issues.

While addressing the media, Priyanka Gandhi said that they should ask the Prime Minister why he is doing this. Why do BJP leaders talk about changing the Constitution? They should also make it clear that if the Constitution is changed, what will happen to reservation and people’s rights? People will also have to question this.

This candidate is in the fray from Saharanpur Lok Sabha.
In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections from Saharanpur, BJP has fielded former MP Raghav Lakhanpal, Congress has fielded Imran Masood and BSP has fielded Majid Ali. There is a tough competition between the three. BJP seems to be benefiting from the division of Muslim votes, but if a Muslim-Dalit combination is formed like in 2019, BJP’s problems may increase.

Parties from Saharanpur also got a chance
Saharanpur Lok Sabha seat of Uttar Pradesh has never been dominated by any party. Here all the parties have got a chance one by one. Presently Haji Fazlur Rahman of BSP is the MP. Raghav Lakhanpal of BJP was elected MP in 2014. He lost marginally in the 2019 elections. BSP had won in 2009 and Rashid Masood of Samajwadi Party had won in 2004.
