Noida Crime: Blinkit’s delivery boy, who attempted to rape a girl in Ecovillage-1 Society of Greater Noida West Bisrakh police station area, was shot in a police encounter. According to media reports, the police said that the miscreant was running away after snatching the pistol of the inspector. The police asked him to stop but he did not stop. After this the police opened fire. After being shot, the accused has been admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
According to the information, the accused delivery boy had come to the house to deliver eggs and milk. During this time, he entered the flat and forced himself on the girl. When the girl protested against this, he also beat her. The accused is originally a resident of Achheja village of Badalpur. His name is Sumit Sharma.

Let us tell you that this matter is of 27th October. A delivery boy had tried to rape and assault a girl in a society in Bisrakh Kotwali area of Greater Noida. The victim protested against this and started making noise. Hearing the girl’s voice, people nearby started gathering. Meanwhile, the accused had escaped from the spot by dodging the people. Based on the complaint of the victim, the police had registered a case against the accused. And investigation was started.
The incident happened last Friday.
Giving information about the incident, the police told the media that the marriage of the sister of the girl, resident of Sector-20, Noida, has been fixed with a young man resident of Greno West society. The girl’s sister’s fiance and his family had gone to condole the death of a relative. There are two pet dogs in the fiance’s house. The victim had come to their house to take care of the dogs.
At around 4 am on Friday, the victim had ordered milk and eggs for the dogs online. The delivery boy had reached the society with milk and eggs. It is alleged that while giving the order, accused Sumit entered the flat. He tried to rape the victim. When the victim protested, the accused also assaulted her. After the information came to light, the police started investigation.
The accused remained inside the flat for 9 minutes
After this, the police has searched the CCTV footage and mobile location etc. of the society. Police investigation found that the accused stayed in the flat for about nine minutes. The accused is seen coming and going in the CCTV footage of the society.
